All our products ship from Dubai, UAE to the GCC region.

If you ever visit Dublin, Ireland - you can find our glasses in the famous Brown Thomas department store (womenswear & menswear).

Otherwise we are based solely online, with shipping to the entire GCC region. We understand that people would like the option of trying on frames before they buy, so we now offer a virtual try-on function, as well as offering a 14 day returns policy!

You can order single vision or progressive (varifocal) Prescription glasses from our Prescription collection, or you can combine your custom Prescriptions lenses with any of our Blue Light or Sunglasses frames.

You can simply enter your prescription details at checkout, or upload your Prescription at checkout. You can even checkout and email us your Prescription details later if you wish!

As we strive to provide quick turnaround times for all of our glasses, it is difficult to accommodate cancellations. 

You may cancel an order within two hours of purchasing your glasses and we will refund you in full as soon as possible. 

If you would like to cancel after two hours, and your order has yet to be shipped, please contact hello@ambreyewear.ae and we will do our best to help. 

If you would like to cancel but the glasses have already been shipped, you can return the glasses to us once you have received them. See our returns page here for more info on this.

We try our best to process orders quickly, but we will do our best to accommodate any changes. The best way to change an order is to email us (hello@ambreyewear.ae) with all of your order details (name, order number, etc.) and any changes that you need.

If you would like to order a larger quantity of glasses (corporate gifting or events, etc.) please get in touch with us before purchasing. Email hello@ambreyewear.ae and we can talk you through discounts, turnaround times and wholesale pricing. 

UAE deliveries will arrive in 2-3 business days. Other GCC orders (Saudi Arabia, Bahrain Qatar, Kuwait, and Oman) will arrive in 3-4 business days.

Custom Prescription orders require a lead time of 2-3 days, which needs to be added to the timelines above when making a Prescription order.

You will get a confirmation email once you have placed and order with us. You should then get a follow up email once your frames have been shipped. We will also send you a tracking link so you can keep an eye on delivery times. 

If you do not know your prescription, you can visit your local optician or optometrist and ask them to conduct an eye test. When you are finished, be sure to ask for a copy of your full prescription, including your PD (pupillary distance)

Eye tests are available at most opticians, however please be aware that not all opticians offer one-time eye tests. Please make sure that your eye test is comprehensive (which should include the use of an eye chart) and that you leave with all of the relevant information:

The sphere (S, SF or SPH) and/or cylinder value of each eye (C or CYL).

If there is a cylinder value, then there must also be an axis value (A, As, AXI, AXS or AXIS).

The pupillary distance (PD) - the distance between the centre points of both pupils.

No need to worry! Sometimes, opticians will omit this from a prescription to make it more difficult for you to buy online (terrible, right?).

If you can a printer, you can download and use our PD measurement ruler. You can find it here.

Otherwise, it's best to (sternly!) ask your optician for this info.

If your prescription falls outside the limits of each frame, we will still happily make a pair to suit at an extra cost of just AED 120. Just email us at hello@ambreyewear.com and we'll be happy to help!

Yes we do! Once you click "Prescription", you'll be shown another selection of lens options which includes bifocals and progressives.

Yes, all our glasses are unisex and are designed to fit 99% of head sizes.

Choosing a new pair of glasses can be daunting, especially if it's your first time. You can compare frame dimensions with a pair of glasses you already own by looking at the numbers printed on the inside arm of the frame. We also have a virtual try-on function that allows you to see what the frames look like on your face. Additionally we offer free 14 day returns & exchanges if you're not 100% happy with your frame choice! 

If you're from Ireland, you can find our glasses in Brown Thomas Dublin. However, for everyone else it's not possible to try them on physically - but virtually is almost as good! Our Virtual Mirror uses augmented reality to give you an accurate idea of how the frames will look! It also works a treat on mobile.

We've tried our Ambr glasses with most brands of over-ear headphones, and it has always been perfectly comfortable. The glasses legs are not too thick and sit behind most ears very comfortable. Your headphones should be absolutely fine to use.

Most of our frame legs are slightly longer than standard leg lengths at 145mm. However, some people will find that this isn't quite long enough. Don't panic though, it's quite easy to rectify. You can simply adjust the 'elbow' of the legs by straightening it and making it less-pronounced until the desired fit is reached. This is how an optician would handle the very same issue. We don't suggest doing this yourself however, as opticians have professional equipment to deal with these adjustments.

We offer FREE shipping across the GCC region. That includes the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, Qatar, Kuwait and Oman.

If you do decide that for some reason that your new specs just aren't quite perfect - don't worry! We are happy to offer a hassle-free 14 day return policy.

You can kick-off a return by sending us an email at hello@ambreyewear.ae and informing us of the reason for the return. You will have to arrange shipment or courier for the return. We will not be able to reimburse you for any shipping costs incurred.

It is important that glasses are returned to us in original packaging with all accompanying materials, and in their original condition. 

Prescription glasses or any glasses customised with prescription lenses are not eligible for a return or refund. We will only refund a maximum of 2 pairs per order. For example, if you order 3 or more we will only be able to refund a maximum of 2.

Yes, our non-prescription computer glasses are perfect for people who've never worn glasses before, or aren't short/long sighted. 

Ambr glasses are for anyone who spends a large amount of time using screens for work or leisure. We've got multiple devices these days so it's inevitable that prolonged screen use is becoming an issue to eye health. These glasses are perfect for designers, journalists, accountants, students or even people who are fond of a Netflix binge watch!

Yes! You can choose the "Add Prescription" option. You will then have a choice of uploading a picture of your prescription, or entering manually using the dropdown menus provided.

Yes! Ambr glasses work great with contact lenses and provide extra protection from the blue light on your screen. The glasses should help against your contact lenses becoming dry and uncomfortable.

Firstly, we've seen competitors charge far high prices for far inferior products. We believe in fair margins so that keeps our costs down.

Secondly, our glasses offer triple protection. Blue light filters that are integrated inside the lens will reflect and absorb over 55% of harmful blue light wavelengths, fighting the symptoms of digital eyestrain. We provide a premium anti-reflective coating too, which most opticians charge for approximately AED 160 - AED 200 extra! The AR coating stops distracting light being reflecting in the lens, improving vision acuity. Our glasses are also scratch & smudge resistance to protect against little bumps and bruises.

Thirdly, our glasses use the latest technology to ensure that the tint is very, very minimal - to the point of almost unnoticeable. This means that they look super stylish and don't affect your perception of colours - perfect for designers. We feel Ambr glasses strike the perfect balance between aesthetic appeal, clarity and blue light protection.

Our glasses block over 55% of blue light, which is enough to relieve the symptoms of digital eye strain that are affecting us. This ratio of blue light blocking allows our lenses to be clear and stylish, while still offering strong protection.

Some competitors offer computer glasses that have deep yellow/orange tints. (we sell those too - see our Ultra range). As stated above, the tint in our blue light range glasses is so minimal that it is unnoticeable. You may only notice it when you stare at a cloudy sky on a bright day, or place the glasses' lens over a sheet of white paper. For people who need optimum colour perception on their screens, our blue light range are perfect. Besides, who wants to be wearing glasses that look like something from the Star Trek Enterprise. 

Yes! Ambr Eyewear lenses block about 90% of UV rays too, meaning they provide you with protection from nature, as well as screens!

Every pair of our glasses comes with a protective hard case and microfibre cloth. Regular cleaning and always keeping them in the case will ensure a long-lasting pair of glasses. Top tip, don't wear them on top of your head, this will stretch out the legs and make them loose!

In short, the Ultra range is more powerful than the regular Screen range. Our Ultra glasses block almost 100% of blue light. However, in order to block this amount of blue light, it is necessary for lenses to have deep yellow tint. 

Our Ultra range is mainly targeted towards blocking the wavelengths of blue light that affect melatonin production. They will also provide extra-strong protection from the shorter wavelengths linked to strain, migraine and even macular degeneration. While our regular Screen glasses will positively affect sleep, our Ultra range will have a more powerful impact. 

We suggest using them in the evening time, about 2-3 hours before bed. However, the Ultra glasses are completely safe to use at any time of the day if you wish. Their polarised lenses will lessen glare, so they can be also used for night driving.

Besides from the polarisation that eliminates glare, Ambr Eyewear sunglasses have UV400 protection, with UVA and UVB protection. You can find a detailed graph showing the protection range here.  

Yes! We can provide prescriptions, even especially high ones, for all our sunglasses. We can even fulfil multifocal orders.
